Hello everybody,
I wanted to write ya’ll a note and tell you what going on with me. I am no longer with Jason Ricci and New Blood as of January 2004. It’s been a great year, playing music with my best friends and seeing more of the country than I have before. However, there comes a time when a bird needs to spread its wings, and I believe that mine has come. I love the New Blood guys with all my heart and wish them nothing but the greatest success, and I still talk to the guys and were all still friends. I hope to continue to make music with those guys whenever we can in the future.

Now, for the juicy details of the Jason Madaris Group. The new group is going to be a three piece unit. I will be letting you know all the details about the band and its players a little later this month. We are going to be rehearsing and writing for most of February, and heading out on the road in March. Please email the site here, so we can get you on our brand new email list. Keep checking back, as I am now laptopped and wireless on the road so I can update the site a lot more.

So in closing I just want to say thanks again to all the New Blood fans for your wonderful support over the past year, and that we look forward to seeing you at our shows. Please feel free to sign the guestbook or forum and let me know what ya think about the upcoming changes.

Love to all

DECEMBER 2003 UPDATE!!

Hey Folks!
Its been about a month since I have been able to talk to ya'll, so I am going to try and update ya the best I can about what's been goin' on and whats coming up.

First off we started our grueling 21 day tour in Jacksonville Florida. The Bradfordville Blues Club is one of the best rooms in the country bar none. Gary and the staff make us feel right at home and we love all of the people that come to our shows there. Halloween night was cool, and Jacksonville rocked.

However to make it to our next show in Ft Lauderdale the next day we had to leave straight from the gig, and drive eight hours. The trip was interesting as it always is when your listening to Art Bell and Jason Ricci at three in the morning! When we got to Ft Lauderdale, it was great that we saw alot of good friends right away. We played the two o'clock slot at the blues fest there and the crowd was awesome. We only got to do an hour, but we tried to pack in as much material as possible.

Special thanks to Dar for helping us with the festival and everything else, your the best girl! We had only one day off before hitting the keys for two days at The Hurricane. Dirk and the folks there are great and we had a wonderful time and even had a special guest in the band house, Dar!

Wednesday it was back to Ft Lauderdale for the Last Call and it was my birthday! Had a great time, and Dar and Ellis and everybody were great and thanks for a happy B-day. We finished up south Florida at City Limits, and old favorite of mine and Ricci's. Great place and great sound, made for a great evening. Then it was off to Lakeland for a new club for us, Ybor Cigar and Spirts. What a great place, and all of the new fans we met were really great people. Thanks to Bob and Diane for making the drive to see us everywhere they can. We love you guy's.

After Lakeland on Saturday it was another 13 hour all-nighter to Nashville for one show at the Lipstick Lounge. What a nice place and the fans were great, very vocal all night long and that made us feel great.

The next day, Monday we headed off to Syracuse New York, for our first time at the Dinosaur BBQ. It was freezing cold and rainy, but once we arrived at the club, it seemed like all of that was forgotten. The staff couldnt have been nicer, and the food! The Dinosaur has the best BBQ I have ever eaten. It is truely a shame we can't move there to be the fattest house band in the world! Scott Sterling was our guide the next night to Dinosaur Rochester. Again great food and people but we had a suprise tonight. My old buddy Chris Beard stopped by to sit in and play a few with us. That was alot of fun and the crowd rocked. Both shows at the Dinosuar were fantastic, and we cant wait to go back.

Thursday we head to Philly for AJ's. Great crowd again and we made alot of new friends. Special thanks to Zig for driving out to see us.

Friday it was back to NY to Buffalo. Great show at the Lafayette Tap Room. Great people and a great room once agian provided for a great gig. Thanks to the West New York Blues Society for coming out to introduce yourselves.

Saturday was another long trip back to New Hope Pennsylvania to Triumph Brewing Company. Jason Ricci's cousin came out to see us and we had a great crowd. Also in attendance was the coolest blues society president- Nicky Coppola and friends. Thanks guys -for coming out all that way to see us.

Sunday was back to New York to Norwich, and the Music Shop Pub. Greg and everybody always treat us so great. Another great show at the Music Shop, and we cant wait to some back to see ya'll. And on Monday we headed home to our families and houses for the first time in almost a month. Stay tuned for more updates and kepp coming out to shows, because we couldnt do this thing we love without you!

Love
